More than 60 US House of Representatives have written to President Joe Biden demanding the release of the PTI founder Imran Khan.
The House of Representatives wrote in the letter that efforts should be made to release political prisoners from Pakistani jails, including the former prime minister, and to end the detention of PTI workers.
The letter said that human rights should be made central in the US policy regarding Pakistan, and the security and well-being of the founding PTI should be guaranteed by the Pakistani government.
The letter has also appealed to the officials of the US Embassy to meet the PTI founder in jail.
