KARACHI: The per told gold price on Wednesday registered a reduction of Rs1,200 in the domestic market, ARY News reported.
Rendering to all Pakistan Jewellers Manufacturers Association (APJMA), per tola gold price fallen by Rs1200 per tola to settle at Rs144,000.
In the past three days, gold has lost Rs6,500 per tola.
The price of 10 grams of gold also decreased by Rs1,028 to Rs123,457.
Local and international gold prices often move in opposite directions as the change in the international market is reflected in the local market with a delay of a day or two.
With this drop, the price of one tola of 24-karat pure gold has reached Rs144,000 while the price of 10-gram 24-karat gold has also increased by Rs1,028 to Rs1,23,457.
The price of 10-gram 22-karat gold has also decreased by Rs942 to reach Rs1,13,170.
The Pakistani market did not observe any change in the price of 24-karat silver Rs1,580 per tola and the price of 10-gram 24-karat silver Rs1,354.60.
A day previous, the precious commodity closed at Rs144,850.
In the international market, bullion prices dropped by $9 per ounce to settle at $1,708.
