Dhanush and Aishwarya Rajinikanth, the well-known duo of the South Indian film industry, have filed for divorce in the Civil Court of Chennai (Madras).
It should be noted that both were married 18 years ago. According to Indian media reports, 40-year-old Tamil film actor and singer Vikankatesh Prabhu Kasthuri Raja, also known as Dhanush, and his 42-year-old wife, singer and film director Aishwarya Rajinikanth, announced their separation in a note on the social media platform in 2022. Since then the two have been living separately.
The two got married in 2004 and have two sons.
It should be remembered that Aishwarya is the daughter of Rajinikanth, the famous actor of South and Hindi films.
